About the Author

Dee Overduin is a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was born in The Netherlands, and raised in Canada. She became a certified General Accountant in 1976 and held top positions in Canadian agricultural and automotive corporations. She has graduated with an MBA from Texas A&M-Commerce in 1998, and has studied Spanish by going to Spanish Language Schools in Spain.
Dee has taught paper tole for the past 18 years and has appeared on the HGTV Carol Duvall show. She is the Executive Director of the National Guild of Decoupeurs, and her paper tole piece "Foiled" won the prestigious People’s Choice award at their 2002 convention in Alexandria, irginia. She has also recently formed "The Paper Tole Institute", an organization dedicated to the promotion of high-quality paper tole, by offering a certification program for paper tole teachers.
She is the author of "The PAPER TOLE Book" and "How to MAKE MONEY WITH PAPER TOLE". She is the owner of The Tole Way, an Internet-based paper tole business.
